Barbers Booking System
A barbers booking system.
Select different cut choices, on different days and time slots, with an order confirmation
coming upp the end.
Suited for both web use and Mobile devices.
With haidressers and barbers being shut throughout Lockdown, my motivation for making
this project was wishful thinking and an out of control head of hair.
Weather App
A worldwide weather app.
Get the current weather of any city in the world.
Javascript + 'Fetch API' + my own photography have brought this project to life.
Straightforward and easy to use, with clear code and aesthetic design.
Unfortunately, Netlify does not support the use of the API, so to see the

Rock, Paper, Scissors
Everyones favourite negotiation game.
The Computer, a most formidable opponent, selets at random while the User
selects out of the three options.
The hands change to suit which seletion you have made.
The Score updates after every go.
HTML, CSS, and Javascript have brought a playground classic to your computers
and phones.

Roman Numerals Converter
Quite simply, a site that converts Numbers into Roman Numerals.
A simple
project.
With a simple design.
Written with clear and concise code.

Password Checker
A password checker that has certain strenght requirements, the abilitiy
to hide or display the password as you type it, and a progress bar with
instructions.

Recipe Upload
This is a web page for searching and uploading your own recipes, it is one of my earlier portfolio projects where I have incorporated quite a few features into it.
The features allow you to; add, search, save, and 'like', new and existing recipes.
As mentioned above, this is one of my earlier projects, and I think you can see the progression between this and my latest ones, particularly when considering the css. However I do believe it also shows good use of Javascript at the very least.
A little bit about me
Hi.
My name is Oliver.
And thanks for checking out my Portfolio. I am a self-taught
web developer based in London / Surrey. Focused mainly on the front-end side
of things, where I feel my developement has come a long way, and I now feel that I
excel at making user friendly projects with easy on the eye aesthetics.
The languages and skills demonstrated in the projects and portfolio are mainly HTML, CSS, and
Javascript. However I am currently spending time learning the React framework, amongst other things,
to be more versed and rounded in the web development world and industry.
I am currently working in the retail industry, but since getting started with learning the programming languages
mentioned above, I can honestly say I have never found an industry or career path that I am more passionate
or driven to being succesful within. The pleasure of seeing your projects come to life, working and functioning
properly, and looking good while doing so (with each project's CSS and styling looking better than the last), is an
unparelled feeling. One of which I'm sure developers all over the world share.
